Live illustrations are a unique feature for your event, providing a personalized and lasting keepsake for your guests. Unlike traditional giveaways, which may be forgotten or discarded, each painting becomes a one-of-a-kind memory, valued and displayed with care.

Additionally, the very process of creating the live illustrations becomes an attraction in itself, engaging guests and creating an interactive and memorable moment. It’s a sophisticated and artistic way to immortalize your wedding in a special way.

We are two artists, watercolorists, and entrepreneurs who aim to convey the various potentials we see in art through the courses and artistic events we organize both independently and together.

There are 3 essential steps:

Each family group has their photo taken by our team, ensuring a reference for an accurate illustration.

The watercolorists begin the paintings simultaneously, capturing the essence and details of each guest with agility and precision.

Once completed, the illustrations are carefully packed for protection and displayed on the table, where guests can collect their personalized artworks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How many illustrations are made during the event?

The number of illustrations depends on the number of hours the artists are hired for.

If the average number of people we expect to illustrate by the end of the event does not cover the total number of guests, we recommend choosing one of the following options:

• A guest list is prepared and shared in advance (such as parents or godparents) to be illustrated, and the remaining guests can decide if they want to participate during the event; or

• No criteria are set for illustrating guests, meaning anyone who wishes to participate can do so during the event."

How many people can be in a single illustration?

We consider a maximum of 4 people per illustration (if the family has more children, exceptions will be made) to ensure everyone is well represented in the painting and that it is completed within the set time frame.

How long does it take for each painting to be completed?

The average time for each illustration is between 10 to 15 minutes, ensuring that a good number of guests can be attended to within the available time.

What is required for the paintings to be done?

To ensure comfort and smooth workflow, we need a large table, two chairs for the watercolorists, and an open space next to it so that guests can take photos. Aside from that, we bring all our materials with us!

How is the payment made?

Our payment method is divided into two parts:

• 40% upon confirmation to secure the date reservation.

• 60% up to 15 days before the event.

Payments should be made via MBWay, bank transfer, or deposit.

Can guests take the painting home on the same day?

Yes! All paintings are finished, packed, and placed on the table for guests to collect throughout the event.

What happens in case of cancellation?

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur. If the cancellation is made more than 30 days in advance, the amount already paid will be fully refunded.

However, if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the event, the amount related to the confirmation fee (40%) will not be refunded, as this amount secures the date reservation and the necessary organization for the service.

How many guests can be illustrated per hour?

On average, we can illustrate between 20 and 25 guests per hour, considering the work of two watercolorists working simultaneously.

What is the size of the illustrations?

The standard size of the illustrations is A5 (15cm x 20cm). However, if you prefer a larger or smaller size, we can adjust it according to your preference.

Are the illustrations realistic portraits?

No. The paintings follow an original artistic style, focused on the lightness and fluidity of watercolor, with loose strokes and an artistic interpretation of the subjects.

The event will be in another city. Do you work outside the region?

Yes! We work in Porto and the surrounding area, but we can travel for events in other cities or even other European countries. Travel within mainland Portugal is included in the quote, and if necessary, accommodation costs will be specified as an additional charge in the quote.
